关于 the Summer Refresher Program

的 Summer Algebra Refresher is a review of basic Algebra skills that are prerequisites for College Algebra or Statistics classes (数学 116, 115, 241, 105, 102). No part of those classes is covered in the program. All content will be provided through Canvas. Free virtual tutoring will be provided. 的 cost to the participants is $60. Upon completion of the program, participants will be given access to another attempt at the placement test and may test into a higher-level mathematics course. Participants are required to supply their ISU email at registration or they cannot be added to Canvas. 的 start date for the program is fluid but all participants must be signed up by July 12, 2024, and all program work must be completed by July 26, 2024. Once registered and payment is received, allow for two business days before having access to the content, all communication will go through campus email.

Additional preparation for trigonometry may also be provided, upon request (preparation for Calculus courses) by contacting the 数学 and Computer Science Department.

Registration Information and Course Dates

Summer 2024 Registration Dates: Rolling enrollment (all program material must be completed by July 26th to take the placement test. 

Summer 2024 Program Dates: June 1, 2024 through July 12, 2024

Cost to students is $60, with scholarships available for Project Success students. 学生 are required to supply their ISU email at registration when registering as a "new student" on the software in order to be added to the appropriate Canvas dashboard.
